About Eyes of the Heart Workshop

When we begin the journey of the Eyes of the Heart we are only aware of our physical eyes. We see with our physical eyes only the physical. As we progress along this journey into ourselves we begin to realize that our "real eyes" see the unseen. In other words the Eyes of the Heart are our real eyes. These real eyes open a whole new world for us that is veiled in mystery.

The real eyes take us into the emotional awareness of the heart and toward the vibrational realms of felt perception. This in turn allows us to see the unseen and to hear the unheard. These realizations are only become evident in hindsight. Once achieved, we "real eyes" that we have been seeing the unseen all along, only unconsciously. Now consciously we can begin the process of navigating our life experiences. Our life experience then becomes our spiritual experience not just one experience here and one experience there.

The Eyes of the Heart workshop shows us everything that we require to accomplish the task of looking deeply within ourselves through authentic inner work. The practice of inner work is when we partake in any procedure that redirects our attention from the outer experience of events or people into the inner sanctum of one’s self. It is a not doing. It‘s entire intention is to re-direct the flow of our attention, and hence awareness, from outward to inward, from out there to in here. The intention of inner work is to detach our awareness from the outer world.

In order to understand the nature of the Eye of the Heart Workshop quest as best as we can right now, let us use the metaphor of a storm. This explanation will save us from unnecessary drama, false expectations and quitting because of physical, mental and emotional discomfort or resistance along the way.

We must accept that if we are born into this world and have become “normal” citizens of our communities, then there is a storm raging within us. This is because what is accepted as normality in this world is a state of “quiet desperation”. As much as we might like to deny its existence, this controlled and sedated inner storm cannot be hidden. By gazing across the planet we can see the outer casualties of this inner storm everywhere in each of us. It is the storm of duality. If we seek real peace, then we must enter this storm willingly and consciously.

We do not have to take up the issues of the outer world to enter this storm because the doorway into its chaos is within each of us. This self-facilitated journey invites us to willingly step into our inner storm like a bungee jumper leaping into a canyon. Our Inner Presence or True Essence will be the harness that will guide our bravery and our foolishness. It will steer us into the Eye of this storm and will support us until the storm subsides. And it will subside. Entering our inner storm consciously will enable us to grow in ways we cannot yet imagine.

Only in hindsight, will we discover that very little is asked of us for what we achieve by completing this self-facilitated journey. However, our conscious participation and consistent commitment are essential to empower us forward.

Inner work therefore moves us into neutrality. With consistent participation inner work neutralizes any possibility of effects from the outer world manifesting in the physical, mental and emotional realms. It carries us beyond the jurisdiction of cause and effect, and therefore into Grace. This gives us the foundation and inner state of Joy as our basic premise in how we approach life.

Eye of the Heart Workshop gives us the tools of this Inner Work, for this supreme act of surrender and therefore the procedure for stepping through the doorway into what we think of as our own True Essence or Inner Presence. Once inside our own True Essence we become truly One for it is the same within each of us.

Our inner storm is a deliberate doorway. It prevents those not ready yet from taking the steps necessary to bridge the gap that enables our inner conflicts to dissolve into Oneness. It convinces those that still need their rest to stay in the dream of chaos. This inner storm is not an accident. It is both an invitation and a deterrent. It is a "rite of passage " that takes us directly into our Heart. This inner work is not for everyone and only the courageous need apply.
